Apprenticeships and traineeships combine paid work and structured training. They allow you to learn a trade or workplace skill and receive a nationally accredited qualification.

Apprenticeships and Traineeships are a highly regarded and progressive pathway for young people who have an interest in trades, agricultural, many health care and disability services paths, childcare and hospitality pathways, just to name a few.

Young people can either commence while at school as part of their schooling, from as early as Year 10 through to the end of their HSC, or after leaving school as a part time or full time apprentice or trainee.

Students in NSW Schools can choose from a massive range of options. These depend on the availability of a workplace to employ a young person, a training provider to deliver the training and the interests and desires of the young person.
